Can i go ice skating if i have mono?

So i just found out i have mono on tuesday and tomorrow my boyfriend ask if i wanted to go ice skating. Well i told him i doubt i can. But i really want to go so this is what i was thinking. I told him i was thinking if i wore a sweater with a hoodie on top and i could wear my carhartt coat and i should be fine. Would that be okay if i wore that?
