What are the differences between Margo Leadbetter and Audrey fforbes-Hamilton?

I know that in the 1970's/early 80's the English actress Penelope Keith used to play the two dominating characters of Margo Leadbetter in The Good Life/Good Neighbours and Audrey fforbes-Hamilton in To The Manor Born. What are the main differences between these two characters? Which show was better?
